during a nap...

I decided since i finally got my Hannah to take a nap, i'd write a little post to update everyone who's interested.

We just got back from california on monday (sunday for Travis) and we're trying to get Hannah back into her normal routine. California was a blast, but it took a tole on Hannah's sleeping habits. So right now, we're having fun trying to get her to sleep good again. We went to disneyland while we were there and i really enjoyed it. Travis on the other hand, well i think he TRIED to enjoy it.. but he's just not the type of person to enjoy being in large crowds of annoying people with gut wrenching rides and unhealthy food. In fact, i can never get him to go the fair with me every year because of those same reasons. It didn't help that we drove 2 hours all the way from our hotel to get there only to realize we had forgotten Hannah's bottles! I think i almost had a heart attack when we made that realization... hannah loves her food! Luckily, a small store inside disneyland had a little dinky dink bottle that we bought and used while we were there.
Rex graduated on Saturday, May 1st (my mom's birthday) which i'm sure was the best birthday gift he could have given my mom. We also went to the beach that day. It was windy and cold, but it was also Travis' first time at the beach so i think he really enjoyed it! Sunday was May 2nd and for all of us Greenlawn/ex-Greenlawn youth groupers, that day will always hold a special place in our hearts. I didn't say anything about it to anyone on that day while in california, but i did and I always think of those 6 girls whose lives ended and ask God to give them lots of hugs and kisses from us all. It's been 11 years, but sometimes it feels like it wasn't that long ago.

Other than trying to get back into our normal routine, not much is going on! I bet you are all surprised right? Summer is coming up fast and i can't wait to take hannah swimming! The way she kicks in her bath water makes me really think she'll enjoy being in a pool. Speaking of Hannah, She's smiling and talking a lot now... and even though we aren't 100% sure, we think she is teething. She's slobbering enough to make a small pool and loves to chew on her fingers. She's been real cranky (more than normal) on top of all of that which is another reason we think she is teething... i guess we'll find out soon!

That's all i have to say! I hope you are all being blessed and walking with the Lord!
